Peregian Springs was planned and built as one estate, so the homes are newer and the gardens are well kept. What sets the suburb apart is what surrounds it: heathland, the golf course and national park bushland that put native wildlife and pests right along the back fence.

Homes here were built with a termite management system, but garden beds, turf and paving added later can bridge it and void the protection.
We check that your barrier is still visible and working, and recommend a yearly timber pest inspection given the bushland surrounds.

Leave a clear, dry strip between the back fence and any garden beds, keep mulch below the slab edge, and avoid overwatering close to the house.

Andy completed a pest inspection at our property in Brisbane and his knowledge is second to none. He is very friendly and genuine and provided a great service. At the end of the pest inspection, he showed us through his findings and talked through different pest control methods and some things we could do to help lessen the chance of any termites finding the property attractive.
