Overview
Palmwoods is hinterland country: old timber cottages near the railway line, acreage blocks on the surrounding hills, and macadamia and small crop farms in between. Life here involves sheds, water tanks and open ground, and each of those supports pests.
Rodents are the most common call. They move from paddocks, orchards and feed sheds into roof spaces as soon as the weather cools. Spiders and cockroaches settle into sheds, carports and rarely used rooms, and old timber buildings on stumps are attractive to termites.
We treat the whole property, not just the house, because on acreage the shed is usually where the problem starts.

Acreage properties usually need treatment every six months, with rodent stations checked more often through autumn and winter.

Andy completed a pest inspection at our property in Brisbane and his knowledge is second to none. He is very friendly and genuine and provided a great service. At the end of the pest inspection, he showed us through his findings and talked through different pest control methods and some things we could do to help lessen the chance of any termites finding the property attractive.

No. We keep products away from the roof catchment and tank inlets, and will tell you if any part of the job needs the downpipe diverted.
Yes. Sheds and outbuildings are usually where rodent and spider problems begin, so we recommend including them.
Baits go in locked, pegged stations that animals cannot open. We can also use traps where you prefer no bait at all.
Yes. Higher rainfall, timber structures and plenty of bush make Palmwoods a high termite activity area. A yearly inspection is strongly recommended.
Every six months works best, with extra rodent attention heading into the cooler months.
