Overview
Kawana Waters is built around canals and the Mooloolah River, and that water shapes the pests you will see. Humid air, damp garden edges and jetties give cockroaches, mosquitoes and midges ideal conditions for most of the year.
Canal-front homes often have boat sheds, pontoons and rock walls where spiders and rodents shelter. Homes near Kawana Shoppingworld and the surf beaches deal more with ants and cockroaches spreading from busy neighbouring areas.
We look at both sides of the property, the street frontage and the water frontage, before deciding where the treatment will do the most good.

We apply gel bait inside and a durable residual barrier around the house, patios and boat shed. Spider treatment covers eaves, jetty lights and outdoor living areas.
Mosquito treatment targets shaded plants and damp corners where adults rest during the day.

Waterways need protecting. We use products suitable for use near water and keep a buffer from the canal edge.
We never spray directly onto water or rock walls that drain into the canal.

Empty pot plant saucers and boat covers of standing water, keep jetty lights off when not in use and store bins away from the house.
Waterfront homes benefit from treatment every six months, timed before summer.

Andy completed a pest inspection at our property in Brisbane and his knowledge is second to none. He is very friendly and genuine and provided a great service. At the end of the pest inspection, he showed us through his findings and talked through different pest control methods and some things we could do to help lessen the chance of any termites finding the property attractive.

Midge control is limited because they breed in the canal and tidal areas, but treating resting spots and using screens helps a lot.
Yes. Spiders and rodents shelter there, so we include them on request.
Rain floods their outdoor shelters, so they move inside. A strong external barrier helps keep them out.
